Like Kenneth, I just wanted to express my thanks to Wicked Lasers for my order (Arctic Laser and some accessories). I placed my order on March 5, 2012, and it appeared to have been received in the US on March 13, 2012, with me finally receiving it on March 24, 2012. Yea, it took 11 days to get once it was in the US, but I still don't know why everyone has to blame Wicked Lasers for the US Postal Services delayed shipping. There is a reason they call it "snail mail"! Thank you Wicked Lasers!
I know Wicked Lasers isn't responsible for the slow speed of the USPS. I only question if the "In Stock" is accurate? If the item was already in Columbia SC, why would it have to go through Customs? Also, why would the USPS take 11+ days to move an item from SC to NJ? I'm still looking forward to getting the laser, but really, really wish I could have chosen my shipper even if it cost more. (I prefer FEDEX even though they are not perfect.
I pre-ordered mine in 2010 when the S3 was first offered for sale. I never received it, & the last I understood it was confiscated by Customs upon entry into the U.S. Wicked lasers also never responded to any inquiries as to whether the order was ever shipped. Just beware that you may never see it since even the E3 models are pushing FDA limits to be allowed into the U.S.
I ordered the S3 and it took over a month just to PROCESS, it hadn't even shipped yet! I cancelled my order since I didn't feel like waiting a year to receive it.
Don't be fooled when you see the laser is "In-Stock". It still has to be manufactured in China, and then shipped.
WickedLasers, if you can truly carry these "In-stock" domestically, with a processing and transit time of one week or less, I will be the first to place an order!
