Like Kenneth, I just wanted to express my thanks to Wicked Lasers for my order (Arctic Laser and some accessories).  I placed my order on March 5, 2012, and it appeared to have been received in the US on March 13, 2012, with me finally receiving it on March 24, 2012.  Yea, it took 11 days to get once it was in the US, but I still don't know why everyone has to blame Wicked Lasers for the US Postal Services delayed shipping.  There is a reason they call it "snail mail"! Thank you Wicked Lasers!

I got notice that my laser arrived in SC on 20 March. Original USPS notice was generated when they got the order. USPS was at fault, Wicked Lasers was better than promised. My laser was delivered 23 March. I just got notice that my optics package has arrived and will be delivered Thursday, 26 March. Once again, better than promised.

Customer service is quite good with WickedLasers. My only complaint is the shipping of course. I realize that WickedLasers can't control the USPS slow...slow shipping speeds, but the WickedLasers could allow us (the customers) to choose our own shipping choice (such as FedEx or UPS). I feel like shipping has been such a problem for WickedLasers yet it seems you guys aren't doing much about it. It's a shame. I was indescribably excited upon purchasing my Spyder III Arctic Laser, but as the days and days pass with no laser in my hand, and I am starting to question if it was worth the money. I'm sure that will change once I actually receive it, but you get the point.  Fix the shipping issues and I, and I would suspect everyone else, would have no complaints about Wicked Lasers as a whole.

Turn around appears to be exceptional. Considering WL products are not a typical mass produced off the shelf. I cant speak for overseas

as the variables are a bit complicated. Shipping within the US is better than most of my Ebay deliveries.

Artic S3 1.4mW and lens pack

Ordered mine on Friday March 29th.    USPS tracking says it arrived in SC on the Monday April 1rst and will be delivered on the 3rd and it still isn't here on the 8th.  From everything I can tell they got it out the same day.  This isn't Wicked's problem, it is 100% USPS's problem.    They screw stuff up all the time so I am not surprised.  Wicked has been very helpful and they even tried to stop shipment of my package to add an  additional product that became available, but it has already shipped.  I have been nothing but pleased with them and I think the story's I read before ordering aren't an issue anymore.  They were all over a year old, but I haven't had an issue that with anything regarding them yet.  If you were holding off or looking at other places (like I was) I'd feel a lot better about it now.  My pearl of wisdom to share, "Get your order right with them because they didn't mess around getting mine out the door."

Ordered S3 1.4 on September 22nd and it appears to have arrived in COLUMBIA SC on September 28th.   Now at the end of the day October 7th, the item apparently still lives in South Carolina.   I didn't realize that clearing customs was an issue until I just read this blog and I'm somewhat concerned about what happens next....   If customs confiscates this item because it's not allowed to be sold in the United States - will I then get a refund?   The product seems really cool - but you know us Yanks - we need everything caged in legal disclaimer language if we're purchasing at risk of flushing money down the drain.   I live in California.

Read back through this thread and others in this forum.  There are actually somewhat logical (didn't say "good") reasons behind the head-scratching shipping policies and issues for Wicked Laser's products (at least to the US).  The tracking isn't likely pretend, rather in an ambiguous state.

You know - Take heart.  I was fairly bothered when my item took a while to arrive too.  I think I even sniped the same kind of persnickety message over to Wicked Lasers as you did.    This product DOES eventually arrive and in it's proper / advertised condition.   For me the whole process took about 4 weeks.   Apparently moving a Class-4 laser inbound through customs is much easier said than done - that's where everything seems to get held up.   As more and more incidents are reported with laser pointers and airplanes, I suspect we probably won't have the luxury of purchasing products like this in the future.   One cannot underestimate how powerful a Wicked Laser actually is - this is not a toy!    I recommend patience and gratitude that you are still able to purchase this type of a device.   Then once you get it - lock it in a safe somewhere.    :-)   Good luck!

QQ - Just because the LINK to tracking (which is a third-party tracking site, not Wicked Lasers and likely not the actual shipper's site either) isn't working, that does not mean the tracking number is bad or "pretend".  Inspect the link and/or check Wicked's order status page for your actual tracking number and shipper, then go to that shipper's web site directly and enter the tracking number.  If all else fails, open a ticket through the support link on Wicked's web site, they almost always respond within a few hours (better way to contact than email, since email can get hung up in spam filters/etc).  And calm down!  Three weeks is NOT unusual, as customs clearance can take 3 weeks by itself, depending on your country, and that isn't something Wicked can control.  Wicked Lasers is one of the FEW companies that actually guarantees you will get your product, or get your money back.  Period.  Even if it gets lost, or gets confiscated by customs, they will replace it or refund your money.

Is there a possible way to push for the package to be passed through faster? I mean the customs are a must I'm guessing, but that shouldn't take up a whole week or 2 to do

@Jeshuapak -  The shipping and customs time obviously depends on where you are.  If you are in the US, about 3-4 weeks is common.  That's 7-10 days to get from China to the US, then 7-10 days in Customs, then 3--7 days to get delivered.  All of those times can vary from package-to-package.  The problem with customs is that they are processing THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of incoming packages every day.  They have a fixed number of staff, but the volume varies greatly from day to day so the number of days there will vary.   I have NEVER heard of anyone getting any faster results by calling the post office or customs.  If anything, calling customs is likely to get your package the kind of attention you DON'T want it to get.   Wicked Lasers has a LOT of experience dealing with customs in various countries, so you have to let them to their job.  Just be patient and it WILL get there.

Everybody I would just calm down a bit holy shit. I ordered my EVO and about a month  I received it. You could wait up to a month, all I would do is relax and realize that the shipping sucks. They are the best lasers hands down. Wait, you will get your laser.

    Mine came!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was delivered on the 31st of December, and on the Wicked Laser Customer site where it says the order status, it still says "Order Status: Processed

Payment Status: Received" but i have it....? I got my "Shipped" email on the 25th of November so if you got your "Your order has been shipped and is on its way. You won't receive a tracking number for another 2 weeks because we first ship in bulk to our domestic warehouse, then directly to you." email around that time it should come soon!!!! i never got a tracking # or an email...whatever

    UPDATE:

Mine arrived (although I wasn't home to sign )

    Ordered Nov 15 2014
    Received Jan 2 2015

7 weeks (minus a day) total time. Looking back I suppose it wasn't too long to wait for a quality item. I plan to use my for work so I started to grow impatient when 2-3 jobs came and went I would have preferred to have it on (I work in lighting for TV and film). I only wish it had been a little clearer before and during the processing that it would take so long.

I may have read it wrong, but it was my impression that it would ship from China in 2-3 weeks and then have another 2 through customs and to my house. (I figured I wouldn't even check tracking for 3 weeks)
I shot wicked a quick email asking what the deal was and got a quick response from Lou that was polite and professional. It said,

"Your order was sent to our carrier on Nov. 17, 2014.
The estimated delivery time is between 15 to 20 business days from this date.
The package is in transit and will be coming from our warehouse overseas.

However, your order record has not yet been updated with the tracking information.
I filed a follow-up request with our shipping office.
We will send another email containing your tracking number as soon as it is available."

This satisfied my american desire to be taken care of in every way possible (I do realize how petty this post is in the long run...)

The only problem was I never received any such email saying, 'it made it through customs' or 'here's your tracking number.' The login on the website wasn't accurate, in fact it still reads "processing nov 16" as the most recent activity.

All in all, this company makes a one of a kind quality item that is tricky to get into the country (especially around Christmas). They do have good customer service, they just need to figure out a better system and work on communication.

Like everyone else says just be patient and remember it'll be worth it.

Believe it or not, happy customer.
